Delete your account

Asta Auction — account and data deletion

The quickest way is in the app. Open Asta Auction and go to Account → Settings → Delete my account. You confirm with your password or a code we email you, and the account is erased immediately.

If you have already uninstalled the app, or you cannot sign in, use the form below and we will do it for you. We answer every request within 30 days, and usually within two working days.

What is deleted

What we have to keep, and for how long

Deleting your account does not erase the auction itself. A bid is part of a public sale record, and an invoice is a tax record. South African law is specific about this, so we are too:

Audit log Records that an action happened, not who you are. 5 years

If you never registered as a bidder and never bid, none of the above applies and everything is destroyed, documents included.

Request deletion

A person reads every request. We may contact you at this address to confirm it is yours before anything is erased. Never send us your password.

Request received. If that address matches an Asta account we will erase it and email you to confirm. If you do not hear from us within 30 days, write to admin@astaauc.co.za.
